Given the problems many collectors have keeping track of postmarks released throughout the year, we gave decided to use this very, very simple listing of those published since the beginning of 2010, and going forward as far as we know them. Postmarks will be added as we learn of them and if necessary, those who have subscribed to our newsletter will get a timely ‘heads up’, plus information additional to what is shown in this listing.

Recent additions are marked thus and will remain so until a newer one is added, unless, of course, they're in a Stamp Bulletin, in which case they will merely be added.

Incidentally, if you’re concerned that the PPE on the right didn’t have a national FDI postmark, well, there you go. The one shown is the permanent pictorial postmark for North Sydney, used on the FDI of the PPE. The PPE for the Centenary of the RVAHJ also did not have a dedicated postmark while that for Ipswich was unusual in that it was a commemorative postmark that coincided with the national FDI! Ah, you have to be on top of things if you’re a marcophilist!

If you have problems regarding these, please contact me. Because of the difficulties we’ve had using the same icons on this website that appear in the print version of Australian PictorMarks, a simple numbering system has been adopted for the purpose of this exercise. We will show here only the type of postmark (by number), date(s), event and location, but that should be plenty for you to stay on top of things.
